A restrained, identifiable public-page collector.
The StackCost Radar collector identifies itself as StackCostRadarBot/1.0 and accesses publicly reachable pricing and billing documentation on behalf of customers monitoring vendors they already use.
What it does
- Uses ordinary HTTP requests with conservative frequency.
- Fetches only customer-supplied public pages.
- Retains normalized factual content and changes, not full HTML archives.
- Stops on unsupported content, access controls, or private networks.
What it does not do
- Bypass authentication, CAPTCHAs, paywalls, or technical restrictions.
- Use residential proxies or impersonate consumer browsers.
- Republish substantial copyrighted page content.
